Our Week In Photos - March 11th 2016

This post contains affiliate links. Some ladies have been hiding eggs in the barn... Beyond excited about the signs of spring popping up! Found about 30 pounds of potatoes in the potato bin while I was cleaning the garden! These girls are such good help! They have both decided when they have their own houses they do NOT want a wood stove...hahaha! This guy loves to go to the woods too. We shouldn't have let him chew on everything in sight though. He puked all over the car on the ... continue reading...

Chemical Free Way To Remove Hard Water Stains From Your Toilet

First of all, I'm so sorry! I thought I would apologize in advance for showing you pictures of our toilet: I know,... GROSS! RIGHT? We have really good well water, but those mineral stains insist on building up over time. I tried so many times in so many different ways, with so many different products to get rid of these stains that I was about to add "new toilets" to the budget. Homemade Celery Salt

Homemade Celery Salt

This post contains affiliate links. I really don't know why I haven't been making my own celery salt for years? It's so simple! I had completely forgot about those sprouts until a few years ago when a friend gave my girls sprouting lids with a little bag of seeds. My girls love them too, they are easy (and fun) to grow, more frugal than buying them at the store, and best of all they are some of the most nutrient dense foods you can eat. You ... continue reading...

Easy Homemade Ranch Seasoning Packets

This post contains affiliate links. Do you like those handy ranch packets from the store, but don't like all the weird ingredients? (or the price? It's been years, but I remember they weren't cheap!) Or maybe you have a recipe that calls for a ranch seasoning packet, but you don't really want to run to the store to grab one. This simple recipe is delicious and frugal with the added bonus that you probably already have all 5 ingredients in your cupboard. When I first tried this ... continue reading...
